Development Team

Development Team

The goal of the Development Team (formerly Beginner Team) is to develop athletes’ passion for triathlon and the associated endurance sports, and to help athletes develop the necessary knowledge, skills, and fitness to complete in their first season of triathlon or endurance racing, or to take help returning athletes take their performance to the next level. The package includes an introductory meeting with your USA Triathlon Certified Coach, a 12-week plan tailored to your experience level and goals, email or other messaging access, a 30-day coaching check-in, and a race week prep meeting.  It can be activated at any time during your membership year.  The "Dev" Team is best for beginner athletes who are curious about triathlon or the associated endurance sports, or those returning to the sport or who aren't ready to commit to Competitive Team or year-round coaching. We ask that athletes commit to racing a minimum of two team events (see schedule below).
